Darlene Lafontaine Financial Advisor Wabun Financial Services provides advice on good governance and financial management practices to its member First Nations. The Financial Advisor provides bookkeeping and financial management to Wabun Tribal Council. The Financial Advisor is also involved in reviewing contracts, agreements and audits of Wabun’s First Nation communities. The Wabun Financial Services Advisor also represents Wabun Tribal Council on employment and training programs through Mamo-Nuskomitowin. Darlene Lafontaine also represents Wabun Tribal Council on various outside organizations such as the: Aboriginal Financial Officers Association of Canada (AFOA) Ontario Chapter and the Northern College Business Advisory Committee. |
